What is a Give Day?:
What does a Give Day look like? Although each experience is unique, Give Days are always people-to-people focused and centered around giving unconditionally.
We will begin the day by gathering to learn where we’re going and who we’ll be supporting. We provide transportation to and from our Give Day destination, along with all other aspects of the day. All you need to do is attend and be fully present. You’re encouraged to come as you, not your title.
This is an offline event, no phones, no photos. We live in a time where good deeds need to be seen to matter. We assure you, they do not. An offline day also encourages real presence without the security of our phones.
At the end of the day, we will wrap up with a group gathering, along with a reflection of the experience.
Who is a Give Day for?:
Any company, group or team that wants to infuse more meaning into their daily lives by giving to their own community.
Why is the Photo & Video Policy important?:
To preserve privacy and the integrity of the experience, cell phones will not be allowed. There will be no personal video or photos taken during a Give Day experience.
However, in certain circumstances a photographer may be hired to capture pre-approved parts of the day. Photographers will be pre-screened by the Give & Grow team beforehand, and will take part in an in-depth discussion. This MUST be discussed prior to the event. If not, the photographer will be asked to leave and any lost deposit/fees will not be the responsibility of G&G.
What do you mean by ‘giving unconditionally?
We believe giving unconditionally allows you to grow exponentially. We respectfully ask that you leave any expectations behind and suspend personal beliefs for the day. By doing so, you’ll be able to drop your guard and enable the person in front of you to see and be seen. If you’re open to the experience, the results can be profound.
